Bayahibe is a picturesque village on the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic, overlooking the Caribbean Sea and located in the heart of the Parque Nacional del Este, which is an hour and a half from Santo Domingo, about 45 minutes from Punta Cana and 22 km from the La Romana International Airport.
It’s a place divided into two parts. On one side is the peaceful fishing village of Bayahibe, founded in the 19th century by a group of seafarers from Puerto Rico; full of restaurants and small hotels and a large white sand beach from which boat trips depart daily to the beautiful island of Saona, a true Caribbean paradise.
On the other side is the tourist area of Dominicus, with a long and beautiful turquoise-watered beach and large all-inclusive hotels overlooking the sea, some small inland ones and a varied offer of apartments and houses for sale or rent. Here too there are various bars and restaurants, some small supermarkets and a lively and colorful market.

Bayahibe, as a whole, is the ideal place to live in a relaxed and authentic Dominican atmosphere, whether it’s for a holiday or choosing to move into the heat and away from a stressful life.
As for more active and close at hand activities there is deep-sea fishing, diving, horseback riding, visiting the Parque del Este or taking, perhaps by kayak, the river Chavón. As well as visiting the nearby Colonial Zone in the capital Santo Domingo or Punta Cana with its shopping centers and attractions. In this area we deal with the sale of apartments, houses, villas and commercial activities. Askus for information.
